The Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) has appointed the Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Center Co Ltd (JEVIC) for the Pre-Export Roadworthiness Inspection (RWI) of used vehicle from Japan, UK, Singapore, Dubai and South Africa destined for use within the Republic of Zambia.

The Canada Border Services Agency have notified that from the 30th June all imported goods, specifically used vehicles and machinery, that are contaminated with soil will be refused entry. There is no option for on-shore treatment in Canada, and units will be re-shipped at the owners expense.
